Something Social: GnT’s and Tote Bags
Date: Friday 20th November
Time: 7-9pm
Our Something Social workshops are the perfect opportunity to meet new people, spend time with friends or simply enjoy a relaxed evening trying something new. Each session combines a fun creative activity with a complimentary drink, making it the ideal way to switch off and get inspired.

In this workshop, you’ll customise your own cotton tote bag using stencils, fabric paints and a selection of famous book quotes. Whether you choose a timeless literary classic, a witty reading quote or create your own design, you’ll leave with a practical tote that’s perfect for carrying books!

Your ticket includes:

  • A complimentary Gin and Tonic (or non-alcoholic alternative)
  • All materials and equipment
  • Friendly step-by-step guidance
  • Your finished artwork to take home

Whether you’re coming on your own or with friends, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind tote bag and, hopefully, a few new connections too.

This Something Social workshop will be led by artist Claire Ford, who works across textiles, visual art, music and digital media, with people and meaningful connection at the heart of her practice. She has worked in Arts and Health since 2010, developing creative projects with communities, arts organisations and health providers in the UK and internationally.
