Something Social: Mojitos and Macrame Hanging Planters
Date: Friday 26th February
Time: 7-9pm
Relax, unwind and discover the art of macramé with an evening of creativity, conversation and a refreshing Mojito.
Our Something Social workshops are the perfect opportunity to meet new people, spend time with friends or simply enjoy a relaxed evening trying something new. Each session combines a fun creative activity with a complimentary drink, making it the ideal way to switch off and get inspired.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn a selection of simple macramé knots to create your own stylish hanging plant holder. Whether you’re completely new to macramé or looking to refresh your skills, you’ll be guided through each step to create a beautiful piece for your home.

Your ticket includes:

  • A complimentary Mojito (or non-alcoholic alternative)
  • All materials and equipment
  • Friendly step-by-step guidance
  • Your finished artwork to take home

Whether you’re coming on your own or with friends, you’ll leave with a beautiful handmade creation and, hopefully, a few new connections too.

This Something Social workshop will be led by artist Claire Ford, who works across textiles, visual art, music and digital media, with people and meaningful connection at the heart of her practice. She has worked in Arts and Health since 2010, developing creative projects with communities, arts organisations and health providers in the UK and internationally.
