Winter Landscape Collage

Date: Wednesday, November 3, 2021
Time: 10am - 3pm
Venue: The Courthouse
All materials provided.

Create a collage inspired by winter landscapes to decorate your home or to use as a seasonal Christmas card design.

You will be developing your own winter collage landscape by learning paper decorating techniques, as well as how to develop a concept and design for your piece. You will use your decorated paper to cut out shapes and decorations to construct your composition, and then be shown how to add details and texture, using pens or pencils, to finish off your piece.

This workshop will be delivered by Sorcha McCole who is the Creative Producer for Visual Arts at Rural Arts. Sorcha is based in Leeds and studied Fine Art at Newcastle University. She also creates her own work outside of her role as Creative Producer, focusing on illustrative drawings as her main practice. The workshops delivered by Sorcha, always aim to be friendly and supportive, with tips and guidance offered along the way.
