Venue: The Courthouse
All materials are provided. You are welcome to bring your own design. You may also choose from one of the designs provided.

Create a bespoke vintage china mosaic choosing from a wide range of cut-out bases including hares, hearts and birds. Select from treasured china, some over 100 years old. A truly original experience of creating your own unique mosaic.

In this workshop you’ll learn the process of making mosaics, with full instruction and guidance provided, including: colour combining, tile cutting, tile layout and grouting.

The workshop will be run by artist Sue Kershaw. Sue has experience in creating a broad range of mosaics for community and charity projects, private and public commissions, and for her own pleasure. Sue loves sharing her passion through teaching. She is a full time professional mosaic artist facilitating workshops since 2007.

I am passionately driven to achieve a harmonious balance between creating a strong initial design with the physical creation and arrangement of tesserae that flow throughout the work.’
