Silver Wrap Ring Workshop (Sat 1st Oct)

Date: Saturday, October 1, 2022
Time: 10am-1pm
Venue: The Courthouse
All materials provided.

Create your very own silver wrap ring using basic jewellery making techniques.

In this workshop, you will make your own silver ring. After choosing from a range of designs you will be guided through the making process by your tutor. You will learn how to use a variety of jewellery making tools to form your ring and how to apply different techniques to create textures and finishes.

You will be guided by artist  Genevieve Broughton, who is a jewellery designer and maker with over 20 years experience. Her work combines precise geometric shapes and stylised natural forms in minimal designs created using traditional silversmithing techniques.

Genevieve is based in Wakefield and her jewellery is exhibited and sold in numerous shops and galleries around the UK.
