May Half Term – Terracotta Birds

Our holiday workshops are especially for children and provide fun for all the family. Our May half term workshops will be inspired by the sky.
Create vintage inspired terracotta birds. Choose to create a beautiful turtle dove or owl.
You will learn how to roll out terra-cotta clay and use a template to create your dove or owl. You’ll also be shown how to attach clay using slip. You will add to your terracotta piece with a lace like design in white clay. Use our range of tools to make fun patterns and texture. You will finish your piece with our colourful underglaze paints and leave it with us to be bisque fired, ready for collection.
Suitable For: Ages 5+ (All under 7’s must be accompanied by an adult)

- If you’re an adult accompanying your child and want to make your own ceramic please buy another ticket. If you are just accompanying, then you will only need to buy a ticket for your child.
- Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for your ceramics to be fired. Please note this piece will be bisque-fired only.
- When booking ensure that you give us your correct contact details so we are able to let you know when your work is ready for collection.
