Marbling and Bookbinding

Create beautifully marbled book covers and learn how to bind pages together to create your very own notebook.

Learn the unique process of marbling as you are shown the art of settling colourful ink on the surface of water and transferring the pattern to your chosen surface. 

Play with inks to make fabulous, swirled, rich covers in the first session. Then continue the process in the second workshop and explore a Japanese binding method. Carefully pull your newly printed pages together and make a notebook that’s entirely unique to you.  

You will be guided by artist Tabitha Grove. Tabitha is a visual artist living in North Yorkshire and has regularly exhibited work which explores our relationships with ourselves and our surroundings through various mediums.   

Tabitha is an experienced workshop facilitator and loves nothing more than to share her skills. She wants her work to inspire us to be open minded, inquisitive and playful.
