Magic Potions and Wands (October Half Term)

“Alakazam, Flipendo, Abracadabra”. Unleash your inner magician, wizard or witch, in our October half term workshops, inspired by all things magic!

Create your very magic potions and wands, perfect for casting spells.

Learn how to use a concoction of inks and liquids to create magical potions in mini glass bottles. Decorate them with labels and ribbon, to make them extra special. Meanwhile, use our hot glue guns onto sticks, to begin your textured wands. Finish them off with brown and metallic paints.

Suitable For: Ages 5+

Other Info:

  • All children aged 7 and under, must be accompanied by an adult. If you wish to join in with your child and make your own creation, please buy another ticket.
  • If you are simply accompanying your child. there is no need to purchase an additional ticket.
  • A pre-order form will be available at each session should you wish to buy lunch in our cafe after your workshop. You can view our menu here.
  • Please make sure to note the potions are NOT safe to be consumed!

  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
