Macrame Wall Hangings

Date: Saturday, August 13, 2022
Time: 10am-3pm
Venue: The Courthouse
All materials provided.

Learn the meditative process of macrame and create your very own wall hangings. Take home your finished pieces to decorate your interior.

Reminisce over the past with the art of Macrame. Discover a range of knots to use to create your wall hangings.

Choose from a variety of colourful macrame cord and begin your piece by creating simple loops onto driftwood. Choose to create geometric and free-form patterns, or a combination of both for your design..

Your tutor Poppy is an experienced educator who currently lives and works in North Yorkshire.  She is a trained facilitator and not only teaches for the Adult Learning and Skills Service for NYCC but also enjoys sharing her multi-disciplinary practice across the region with local community groups, schools and galleries.
