Lino-cut printed Wrapping Paper

Date: Saturday, November 18, 2023
Time: 1pm - 4pm
Venue: The Courthouse
All materials are provided.

Design your own intricately carved linocut stamps to hand decorate paper rolls using our professional tools and inks. Use your paper to wrap your presents and add that an extra level of thoughtfulness when gifting loved ones this Christmas.

Learn the traditional process of carving a design into lino. Print your design onto a range of paper to create your very own Christmas wrapping paper.

You will draw your design and then transfer it to your lino. You will then cut out of the linoleum surface with a sharp knife, a V-shaped chisel or gouge; the remaining un-carved areas will be applied with ink, to produce a mirrored print.

You will be able to use your linocut stamps to create several prints onto your paper roll.

Your tutor will be Dove Armistead. Dove has a passion for textiles, specialising in stitching and upcycling fabrics.

Suitable For: All abilities.
