Life Drawing Wednesdays (Tutor-Led Sessions) Nov 22

Venue: The Courthouse
All materials and equipment are provided. However, you may wish to bring your own materials, paper, drawing board or easel to suit your particular way of working. Materials provided include: - Lightweight metallic standing easels - A3 drawing boards - A varitey of paper - A variety of pens, pencils and charcoal.

Join us for our tutor-led life drawing sessions on Wednesday evenings, as part of a friendly group.

Learn observational drawing techniques with our professional life models who will model a variety of poses for our sessions. With all materials provided, explore both the female and male form, using a range of mediums, such as pens, pencils and charcoal.

Under the guidance of your tutor, Jennifer, you will learn gestural drawing techniques, how to correctly observe proportions and perspective and more. This is the perfect class for individuals who wish to develop their drawing techniques and learn more about how to draw the human body from life.

Suitable For: Beginners and those with some experience.

Other Info:

  • Please note these sessions will be tutor led. Should you wish to work independently, we have peer led life drawing courses available to book.
  • A Rural Arts member of staff will be on hand at each session should you need anything else.

£75 (£15 per session, inc. all materials)

  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
