Life Drawing Wednesdays (Peer-Led Sessions)

Date: Wednesday, July 13, 2022
Ends: Wednesday, October 26, 2022
Time: 6.30pm - 8pm
Duration: 1.5 hours
Venue: The Courthouse
All materials and equipment are provided. However, you may wish to bring your own materials, paper, drawing board or easel to suit your particular way of working. Materials provided include: - Lightweight metallic standing easels - A3 drawing boards - A varitey of paper - A variety of pens, pencils and charcoal.

Join us for our peer-led life drawing sessions, as part of a friendly informal group.

Learn observational drawing techniques with our professional life models who will model a variety of poses for our sessions. With all materials provided, explore both the female and male form, using a range of mediums, such as pens, pencils and charcoal.

The sessions will take place in a peer led format. This means it can be up to you what you would like to explore each week, and you can guide the models accordingly, with someone as nominated timekeeper. This is the perfect class for individuals to develop their visual language and technique.

Suitable For: Those with a reasonable level of confidence in their drawing skills who are able to create work independently.

Other Info:

  • Please these sessions will be peer led, which means there will be no formal teaching. Should you need a tutor, we have tutor led life drawing courses available to book.
  • There must be a minimum of 4 people attending the sessions for them to run to cover materials and models costs. Unfortunately this may mean cancellation of the minimum number isn’t met.
  • A Rural Arts member of staff will be on hand at each session should you need anything else.

£8 per session, inc. all materials
