How to draw and paint dogs. Learn how to develop your observational skills for our furry friends!

During this course your tutor, Jo Lawson, will guide you through every stage of painting and drawing dogs. This will cover pet portraits and how to capture movement in animals, looking at basic shapes and proportions of the body, details of their features, to how to draw and paint fur. You will develop your observational skills using mixed media and we will have an amazing ‘dog model’ to help understand how to draw from life looking at movement and shape.

This course stars Inca, the Cocker Spaniel, who’s modelling fee is in support of the charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
