Join our friendly and relaxed art and craft activities, every month, suitable for all abilities.

Our Heart and Craft group, free and for over 70s, is the perfect place for you to meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere. Learn a new artistic skill under the guidance of a professional artist. Activities include painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics and more!

Suitable For: Over 70s, all abilities.

Other Info:

    • You must be age 70 or over to be eligible to attend these sessions.
    • All current members must book to attend sessions until further notice, with by emailing sorcha@ruralarts.org or calling 01845 526 536
    • If you have not attended Thirsk Heart and Craft before, please emailing sorcha@ruralarts.org or call 01845 526 536 to see if any places are available
    • Friends, relatives and carers are still welcome, however please let us know in advance whether you require social distancing or not

Get stuck in – but don’t get stuck on our “need to knows”!

  • We don’t issue physical tickets – just bring your email confirmation or order reference along
  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
