Harry Potter Ceramics (October Half Term)

“Alakazam, Flipendo, Abracadabra”. Unleash your inner magician, wizard or witch, in our October half term workshops, inspired by all things magic!

Sculpt a Nimbus 2000, a golden snitch or even a mini hedwig, in our special Harry Potter inspired ceramics workshop.

Learn how to create pinch pots and join them together using slip and carve into your clay, or stick on extra pieces, to create character! Finish your piece by adding textures and using our colourful underglaze paints. Leave it with us to be bisque and glaze fired, ready for collection.

Other Info:

  • All children aged 7 and under, must be accompanied by an adult. If you wish to join in with your child and make your own creation, please buy another ticket.
  • If you are simply accompanying your child. there is no need to purchase an additional ticket.
  • Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for your ceramics to be fired.
  • When booking ensure that you give us your correct contact details so we are able to let you know when your work is ready for collection.
  • A pre-order form will be available at each session should you wish to buy lunch in our cafe after your workshop. You can view our menu here.

  • We don’t issue physical tickets – just bring your email confirmation or order reference along
  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
