Ghoulish Ceramic Lanterns (October Half Term)

“In a dark, dark wood, there was a dark, dark, house, and in the dark, dark house…” there were some ghoulish lanterns!

Create your very own ceramic lanterns inspired by monsters, ghouls and all thing Halloween.

Make your very own ceramic pumpkin, werewolf, vampire or witch inspired by the spookiest season of all. Learn how to create pinch points, join them together using slip and then carve into your design.  Finish your piece with our colourful underglaze paints and leave it with us to be bisque and glaze fired, ready for collection.

Suitable For: Ages 5+

Other Info:

  • All children aged 7 and under, must be accompanied by an adult. If you wish to join in with your child and make your own creation, please buy another ticket.
  • Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for your ceramics to be fired.
  • When booking ensure that you give us your correct contact details so we are able to let you know when your work is ready for collection.

  • We don’t issue physical tickets – just bring your email confirmation or order reference along
  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
