Curious about freehand machine embroidery? Explore techniques, create samples, and unleash creativity in this relaxing and inspiring workshop!

You will learn various techniques of freehand machine embroidery, including applique, during this workshop.There will be an opportunity for you to create several samples as well as create a larger piece of work of your choice.We will have a variety of samples and materials available on the day to inspire you, however if you become more confident over the course of the workshop, you may want to use your own creativity.

The day is intended to be a relaxing and creative experience, where you will learn new skills and find new inspiration.

Suitable For: All abilities.

Other Info:

  • Please feel free to bring your own sewing machine along and also let us know if you plan to do so.
  • A pre-order form will be available at each session should you wish to buy lunch in our cafe.

  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
