A Taste of Art: Colourful Countryside Paintings

Date: Wednesday, February 1, 2023
Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm
Venue: The Courthouse
All materials are provided.

With all materials included and each workshop suitable for beginners, our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques.

Create an illustrative countryside painting, inspired by David Hockney, using gouache or acrylic paints.  You will create your painting by creating a bold and bright background colour, which will then be overlaid with a range of bright colours, to create your very own version of a rural landscape.

Suitable For: All abilities.

  • This workshop is part of LGBT+ History month, where we take inspiration from LGBT+ artists, with all welcome to join in.
