Collage Masterclass

Date: Wednesday, July 3, 2024
Time: 10am - 4pm
Venue: The Courthouse

During this masterclass, you will learn a number of collage techniques, taking inspiration from artists like Picasso, Kurt Schwitters, Hannah Hoch and Matisse. You will be guided through the creation of collages in different styles, learning about how the great artists have used collage in their work. You will develop skills in composition and colour and your own artistic vision, merging the teachings of the greats with your personal style, allowing your imagination to flourish and your skills to evolve. The day will culminate in a final piece of art, bringing together all the ideas and your own creative style.

  • We don’t issue physical tickets – just bring your email confirmation or order reference along
  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
