Bookmarked: Tote Bags Bringing Books to Life

Bring your favourite stories to life and create your very own book-themed tote bag! Choose from a selection of fun, pre-cut book-inspired designs created using our Cricut machine, then pick from the vinyl colours available to make your design your own. You’ll learn how to “weed” your design, carefully removing all the unwanted pieces of vinyl before positioning your finished creation onto your tote bag. With support from the Community Works Maker Space, you’ll then use a heat press to transfer your design permanently onto the fabric and watch your book-inspired creation come to life! At the end of the session, you’ll leave with your very own personalised tote bag, perfect for carrying home your latest library haul, filling with new reads from the bookshop, or keeping your favourite stories close at hand.
