Basics for Beginners: Sketchbooks (4 week course)

Date: Tuesday, September 5, 2023
Ends: Tuesday, September 26, 2023
Time: 11am - 1pm
Duration: 4 weeks
Venue: The Courthouse

Artists have always used sketchbooks to hone their creative skills – to document what’s around them by drawing and painting, to experiment with new techniques and explore new ideas, to collect found objects and images that inspire them.

During this four-part course, you will embrace a series of fun, challenging, sketchbook tasks both during the session, and at home- for example, sketching and observational drawing, experimenting with new media, collecting and responding to inspiring images and exploring other artists’ work. A4 sketchbook provided!

Suitable For: No previous experience necessary. The classes are ideal for those who are very beginners.

Other Info:
