Basics for Beginners: Crowded Places

All materials and equipment are provided, but do feel free to bring along a sketchbook or notebook or your own set of pencils.

Learn how to capture the hustle and bustle of urban landscapes  in this course perfect for beginners.

Use a variety of drawing techniques, to create gestural marks and illustrative compositions of crowded places. Learn how to capture the feeling  of movement of people and crowds, using different mediums. Develop your drawing skills further, by learning how to create depth through perspective and foreshortening.

Throughout this four week course we will explore urban landscapes, building, crowds and techniques for “in the moment” drawings.

Suitable For: These classes are ideal for beginners and  those who are looking to progress from a previous basic for beginners course.

  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
