Art Club (April – July 2023)

Art club is specially designed for children and young people with a creative streak. 

Our children’s art sessions are perfect for any young creative! Nurturing a safe, supportive and inspiring environment, alongside a strong emphasis on fun and experimentation, each Art Club session aims to be engaging for everyone who takes part. 

Our brand new theme for Art Club 2022 – 2023 began back in September. Each month we have explored a different artistic medium such as papermaking, drawing or ceramics. This will continue until the end of the school year with other artforms such as textiles, digital art and printmaking.  

We will learn how these mediums have been used in the art world historically, and lots of brand new exciting skills and techniques within each medium.

The classes are currently as follows; 

• Thursdays; 6 – 16 years old; 4pm – 5.15pm. 
• Saturdays; 6 – 10 years old; 10:00am – 11:15am.  
• Saturdays; 11 – 16 years old; 11:30 – 12:45pm. 

However, from September 2023, we will start the new school year by splitting our Thursday group in half, with a younger group for 6 – 10 year olds from 4pm – 5.15pm and an older group for 11-16 year olds from 5:30 – 6:15pm. 

Other Info:

• Each of our Art Clubs take place in the studio or upstairs at The Courthouse – a safe, supportive and inspiring environment.
• This term’s Art Club runs from Thursday 20th / Saturday 22nd April to Thursday 13th / Saturday 15th July
• There will be no Art Club on Thursday 1st / Saturday 3rd June due to half-term holidays.
