A Taste of Art: Pressed Leaf Pottery

With all materials included and each workshop suitable for beginners, our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques.

Use a selection of leaves and flowers to create pottery in this Taste of Art workshop. You will explore a variety of ceramic techniques including joining using slip and slab rolling. Glazing and finishing techniques will also be explored to finish off your piece.

 Suitable For: All abilities.

Other Info:

  • Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for your ceramics to be fired.
  • When booking ensure that you give us your correct contact details so we are able to let you know when your work is ready for collection.
  • A pre-order form will be available at each session should you wish to buy lunch in our cafe after your workshop. You can view our menu here.

  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
