A Taste of Art: Kinetic Origami

With all materials included and each workshop suitable for beginners, our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques.
Within this workshop you will be making spiral curlicues and moving origami. Choose from a beautiful range of colourful paper to create your pieces and take them home to amaze your friends.
Using long strips of paper, you’ll make your curlicues. These are fascinating structures which can be turned and twisted into spectacular patterns and shapes.
Your tutor will be Simon Crook; a highly experienced graphic designer, illustrator and 2D/3D animator by trade.
Suitable For: All abilities.

- Please note that paper-folding can be more challenging for those with limited dexterity. If you wish to book but are concerned about this, please let us know as it may be that one of our volunteers is able to provide additional support.
