A Taste of Art: Enamelling a Unique Item

With all materials included and each workshop suitable for beginners, our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques.

Come and explore the basics of enamelling and take away an item that has been fired in a kiln. you will take a copper piece and fire with ground glass (vitreous enamel). Choose your own colours and techniques and take away something unique

Suitable For: All abilities.

Other Info:

  • You are more than welcome to bring along your own magazines and newspapers to the workshop to aid you in your design.
  • A pre-order form will be available at each session should you wish to buy lunch in our cafe after your workshop. You can view our menu here

  • We don’t issue physical tickets – just bring your email confirmation or order reference along
  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
