A Taste of Art: Paper Christmas Ornaments

Venue: The Courthouse
Please feel free to bring any pressed flowers, fabrics, found objects such as feathers, buttons, train tickets, photographs, newspaper clippings that you would like to add as an additional element to your decorations. A large selection of materials will also be available and there is no requirement to bring your own.

Tired of using the same decades old ornaments?

Our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques.

In this workshop you will create a number of different paper based Christmas decorations, using an assortment of top quality wrapping paper and wallpaper samples.

During this workshop you will learn:

How to create hanging stars, as traditionally seen in our cafe during the festive period.

Create 3-D paper baubles and more.

Development in your paper craft skills.

All materials are included and each workshop suitable for beginners, making everyone welcome to join!

  • We don’t issue physical tickets – just bring your email confirmation or order reference along
  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
