Looking to light up your Christmas?

Our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques.

Create your very own Christmas tree lanterns in this Taste of Art workshop. Perfect to give that festive feeling to your home this December!

During this workshop you will learn:

You will explore a variety of ceramic techniques including slab rolling.

Ceramic joining using slip as well as carving into your piece.

Glazing and finishing techniques will also be explored to finish off your piece.

All materials are included and each workshop suitable for beginners, making everyone welcome to join!

 Suitable For: All abilities.

Other Info:

  • Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for your ceramics to be fired. We will try to ensure they are fired in time for Christmas.
  • When booking ensure that you give us your correct contact details so we are able to let you know when your work is ready for collection.

  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
