A Taste of Art: Ceramic Owls

With all materials included and each workshop suitable for beginners, our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques.

Create your very own ceramic owl in this Taste of Art workshop. You will explore a variety of ceramic techniques including creating pinch pots, joining using slip, and carving into your piece, to create your owl. Glazing and finishing techniques will also be explored to finish off your piece.

 Suitable For: All abilities.

Other Info:

  • Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for your ceramics to be fired.
  • When booking ensure that you give us your correct contact details so we are able to let you know when your work is ready for collection.
  • A pre-order form will be available at each session should you wish to buy lunch in our cafe after your workshop. You can view our menu here.

  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
