A Taste of Art: Sunsets in Acrylic

With all materials included and each workshop suitable for beginners, our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques.

Create a stunning sunset painting in this two hour workshop. Take inspiration from the stunning skies painted by renowned artists such as Van Gogh, Monet and Renoir, as well as more contemporary artists such as John Lowrie Morrison.

You will create your painting using a range of acrylic colours, learning how to create varying forms and patterns through different applications of paint.

Suitable For: All abilities.

  • Please bring an apron or wear old clothing.
  • A pre-order form will be available at each session should you wish to buy lunch in our cafe after your workshop. You can view our menu here.

  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
