May Half Term - Solar System Collage

Date: Tuesday, May 31, 2022
Time: 1.30pm - 3pm
Venue: The Courthouse
All materials are provided.

Please note the date was misprinted in our brochure as 1st June. The workshop will in fact be running on Tuesday 31st May.

“To infinity and beyond!”

Our holiday workshops provide fun for all the family. In May we will be inspired by the solar system!

Use a range of colourful paints and pens to create patterned paper. Assemble your paper together and cut it into shape, to create your space scene.

You will learn how to design and create templates  for your collage and take inspiration from a number of different planets.

Decorate black paper with splattered paint to give a starry night effect. Then stick your planets and other shapes onto the paper to create your final piece.

Suitable For: Ages 2+ (All under 7’s must be accompanied by an adult)

Other Info:

  • If you’re an adult and want to make your own collage please buy another ticket. If you are just accompanying then you will only need to buy a ticket for your child.
  • For children aged 2 – 5 the activity will be simplified slightly to make it easier for younger ones.
