May Half Term - Ceramic Space Ships

Date: Wednesday, June 1, 2022
Time: 10:30am - 12:00 noon
Venue: The Courthouse
All materials are provided.

Please note the date was misprinted in our brochure as 2nd June. The workshop will in fact be running on Wednesday 1st June.

“…and we have lift off!”

Our holiday workshops provide fun for all the family. In May we will be inspired by the solar system and beyond.

Create your very own space ship or rocket. Or create a ufo to hang from your ceiling and store secret treasure inside.

You will learn how to make pinch pots and mould them into shape, as well as how to attach clay together using slip. You will finish your piece with our colourful underglaze paints and leave it with us to be bisque and glaze fired, ready for collection. You will aslo have the option to have it spray painted gold or silver.

Suitable For: Ages 5+ (All under 7’s must be accompanied by an adult)

Other Info:

  • If you’re an adult and want to make your own ceramic please buy another ticket. If you are just accompanying then you will only need to buy a ticket for your child.
  • Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for your ceramics to be fired.
  • When booking ensure that you give us your correct contact details so we are able to let you know when your work is ready for collection.
