As an artist, Andrew Dalton is fascinated by black and white. In print, painting and drawing he uses black and its tonal graduations to white as the vehicle through which he expresses himself. His images offer a personal narrative; a distillation of moments that represent experience. A dragonfly, bird or figure can represent itself, or a memory of an event, place or time.
This exhibition features recent woodcuts, monoprints, and etchings inspired by the landscapes and fauna of North Yorkshire.
