Since forming in 2016, the Thirsk Yarn Bombers have brought joy to thousands of people through their imaginative knitted and crocheted installations, transforming the town with colourful yarn creations that celebrate local events, national occasions and the changing seasons. What began as a community project for the Tour de Yorkshire has grown into a much-loved creative movement involving hundreds of contributors and inspiring people of all ages.
