Alison Britton – MA Exhibition

Alison has been studying for an MA in Creative Practice at Harrogate College, after a career in art education.

This final exhibition is of work that takes inspiration from a particular place; Lake Gormire, Garbutt Wood and Sutton Bank. Many of the pieces are indicative of a specific walk or journey through the landscape. By taking casts of the ground and using them to create both prints and pots Alison has integrated the elemental properties of the place into her work.
