A Taste of Art: Quirky Fruit Bowls

With all materials included and each workshop suitable for beginners, our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques

Design and make a colourful ceramic fruit bowl using a range of hand building techniques. Make a bowl 15 x 15cm or two smaller bowls 7.5 x 7.5cm.

Draw inspiration from a range of ceramic artists. Use slip for additional clay details and add colour using a selection of our under glaze paints.

Suitable For: All abilities.

  • Please bring an apron or wear old clothing.
  • Please allow up to 3 weeks for firing of ceramics

  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
