Lee Karen Stow

Lee Karen Stow works long-term with women survivors of war and conflict, using photography to respond to the impact of war on women, and how they cope after the aftermath. Running parallel to this work, she photographs the floral form to symbolise her personal reflections and expressions of family, fragility, survival, resilience, and hope. The Art of Petals draws elements of this work together as a body of work created especially for Rural Arts.
