A Taste of Art: Summer Collage with Ink and Pen

Please feel free to bring any pressed flowers, fabrics, found objects such as feathers, buttons, train tickets, photographs, newspaper clippings that you would like to use. A large selection of these will also be available and there is no requirement to bring your own.

With all materials included and each workshop suitable for beginners, our Wednesday morning Taste Of… sessions give the perfect introduction to a range of artistic styles and techniques.

In this workshop you will create a collage combining an assortment of materials, mediums and techniques. Within this workshop you will be combining pen, ink, and paper-cutting, to explore the process of collecting, combining and collaging these mediums to create a mixed media piece. You will choose to either create your very own summer landscape or illustrative sun as shown in the pictures.

  • We don’t issue physical tickets – just bring your email confirmation or order reference along
  • If The Courthouse opens before your workshop starts, you’re welcome to browse our artisan shop – maybe we stock the artist running the workshop!
  • You’re welcome to grab a coffee of a snack from our friendly café and take it through into the workshop with you
  • If you have any access requirements, let us know.
  • There is no parking at The Courthouse except for Blue Badge holders who must let us know they will be needing the space
