#CREATETour (2017-19)

#CREATETour brought performing arts opportunities to young people in Richmondshire, Ryedale and the Tees Valley.

Working with three brilliant companies – RJC DanceFuel Theatre and Tamasha Theatre – young people created “curtain-raiser” for a professional touring performance through free workshops during the school holidays.

113 rurally-isolated young people collaborated and learned from some of the UK’s leading performance companies, developed confidence, creativity and technical skills and performed alongside professionals at venues all across North Yorkshire.

The performances were seen by 1389 people, with 278 young people taking part in post-show discussions.
