ON Tour

ON Tour

ON Tour works in partnership with volunteer promoters to bring professional performances to community venues across North Yorkshire and the Tees Valley. We offer our audiences a night out to remember and our artists a performing experience like no other!

Since 1999, we’ve supported local community volunteers to book, promote and host professional performances in their villages. Each year, this translates to thousands of audience members enjoying 70 live performances over a staggering 3,500 square miles.

Bringing communities together to share experiences, spark conversations and – more often than not – run a really good raffle, ON Tour is a great night out, right on your doorstep.

ON Tour is one of thirty rural touring schemes supporting professional arts in more than 1000 community venues across the UK. Rural touring plays a big role in keeping community buildings vibrant and sustainable. The rural touring sector is supported by the National Rural Touring Forum

ON Tour is only able to reach right across North Yorkshire and the Tees Valley thanks to the support of over 300 enthusiastic volunteer promoters. These volunteers make ON Tour possible: selecting, promoting and hosting performances with Rural Arts’ support.

Anyone can become a promoter. So, if bringing exciting, professional performance to your area is something you’re interested in, find out more about becoming a promoter by clicking below for our Promoter’s Pack.
