‘Get Creative’ our outreach and educational programme delivers participatory arts activities to the most rurally isolated within our region. It provides social interaction between isolated communities, groups and individuals, and well being and accessible learning pathways to the young, elderly, disabled and socially excluded.
We have developed strong links with agencies and organisations that support those with physical and mental health issues, armed service families, female ex-offenders and more. Our outreach project activities were funded from a range of commissioning bodies including schools and local authorities. Project activities have included a textile project with military families and a community learning project involving women’s probation and adults with learning difficulties, which was part funded by Lloyds TSB.
