Creating inspiring Raku ceramic art
Honing her craft since 1998, Fiona uses the Raku firing technique to create beautiful and unique pieces of ceramic art. Inspired primarily by the amazing world of butterflies, Fiona’s colourful creations have been exhibited in galleries and shows across the UK.
Specialising in Raku, Fiona is inspired by the smoke and crackle effect of this art form, through which no two creations are ever the same. The use of the naked Raku process especially enhances Fiona’s work on butterflies, allowing the development of colour and form to mimic the individual expression of the natural world.
Demonstrating a flare for the experimental in her various pieces, her Raku wall hearts, ceramic baubles and lidded honey pots certainly make a great addition to any home.
