CarolAnn is an artist/educator specialising in hand embroidery based in Yorkshire.
She teaches hand embroidery, English Paper piecing, darning, stitched shibori and eco printing and has a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Surface Pattern and Textiles.
CarolAnn’s own practice explores the importance of Slow textiles and traditional skills. She was second artist for the Stitched Together project headed up by Dionne Swift in conjunction with Rural Arts, Thirsk and across three separate Army Bases for the Military wives/partners.
She runs workshops at her home in Yorkshire, Rural Arts, RHS Harlow Carr and Embroidery Guilds and is available for talks and workshops.
