BORDER TALES: PROTEIN DANCE
The smash-hit, Border Tales, Protein's punchy yet poignant commentary on multicultural Britain, seen through the eyes of an international cast, is told through dance, live music and dialogue compiled from the performers’ personal experiences. With this broadcast, we contribute to breaking down
the walls of silence that uphold and sustain ‘borders’ around the world.
“Funny, thought-provoking and consistently entertaining, Border Tales celebrates our differences, acknowledges our sameness and does more to repair the rifts than politics ever could.”
“A well-thought-out, beautifully performed and poignant piece of theatre which will always be relevant.”
Protein’s May Contain Food and The Little Prince have been adapted for smaller venues and have toured extensively to rural venues with the Rural Touring Dance Initiative. In order to support artists in these difficult times, Protein will be passing the broadcast fee directly to the dancers in the show.
