Rural Arts carries out projects with all kinds of groups and organisations to interpret and enhance local sites and attractions. Our expert artists have undertaken a wide range of projects from school stained glass windows to community murals.
We can guide your group through the process of making something really unique in any artistic form, alternatively you can commission an artist to carry out the project based on your design.

Be creative in interpreting a special place…
To enhance a local walk and provide information on things of interest, way-markers can be created from mosaic, cast metal, ceramic and carved stone as part of a community project. Way-markers can be created for nature trails, walks, heritage sites, information boards, sculpture trails for school grounds and village greens.
Site-specific, permanent or semi- permanent sculpture can be produced, either through community consultation, or as a hands-on group activity. Pieces may have an environmental theme, using natural found materials, or be created from metal, stone, wood, willow withies or ceramic.
