Join On Tour

ON Tour is an established touring scheme, co-ordinated by Rural Arts, which brings professional performers to community venues across North Yorkshire. In Spring and Autumn a brochure is sent out, offering a choice of shows specially selected to be suitable for small venues and to appeal to diverse audiences of all ages.

How Your Community Can Get Involved

Anyone with enthusiasm can become a promoter – you don’t need any experience – just a hall and people who want to enjoy themselves!
Rural Arts wil send you a copy of the On Tour brochure, in which you will find details of all the shows on offer, including dates available, cost, information about the show and the technical requirements for each performance.

On Tour has been operating for over 13 years and is funded by Arts Council England, and Hambleton, Ryedale, Craven, Harrogate and Scarborough district councils.

Thursday night's performance was breathtaking.....I knew nothing of the war but that performance taught me a lot and made it real for me.

People in the village have been approaching me since Thursday saying how amazing it was to have such a powerful performance here in our village hall; we were very lucky.
