Angus and Ross – Holmes and Watson: The Farewell Tour
In this glorious, comical romp, Sherlock Holmes, his companion Dr Watson, his landlady Mrs Hudson and Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard re-enact one of the detective’s most baffling unrecorded cases - The Case of the Prime Minister, the Floozie and the Lummock Rock
Lighthouse. But who is lurking unseen in the wings, planning another deadly strike....?
An absolute hoot -with a twist in the tale.

Martin Speake and Colin Oxley Duo - In Concert
Oxley perform music composed or associated with Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Johnny Green and many others. The intimacy of the duo allows for close, improvised interplay that is melodic, lyrical and infused with a harmonic richness. The result is a performance of unique, personal interpretations of some of the greatest music in the jazz repertoire.

“..one of the most original and interesting jazz saxophonists on the British scene” TIME OUT
“I listen again to Colin Oxley’s glorious guitar, responding with both masterly chording and joyful single notes to every mood” Humphrey Littleton

Groanbox Boys – Groanbox
Groanbox, the North American trio of Michael Ward-Bergeman, Cory Seznec and Paul Clifford, are a musical hybrid of ideas and ideals. At first glance a roots band steeped in the traditions of American music, they play with all the guts of rock and roll and all the soul of the
wandering troubadour. But somewhere along the way, that troubadour turned off the road and, setting sail from the melting pot of New Orleans, began a journey that would take their sound to new, unchartered territories with influences from around the world.

...it was percussionist Paul Clifford who held ones attention. With a calabash (gourd shell), an old piece of a yew tree and various implements he unleashed a torrent of sounds. Hammering, stroking, hitting, whistling and eventually grabbing their Freedom boot (a six foot pole garnished with 420 bottle caps, a boot and symbols) he was at times shamanistic.
Paul Kerr, Americana UK, April 2009.
